FLOATING

Melted marshmallow puff cloud,
floating in air, sailing about.
Cotton candy without a stick -
can I float up to take a lick?

Spoonful of whipping cream,
summer day’s dream.
Can I jump in your lap
for a fleeting, float nap?

Clouds of soft cottontail fluff
snow white bunny tail puff,
can I somersault up high
to float with you through the sky?
