MAPLE LEAVES

Every year some of these millions of falling leaves remind me of the Maple Leaf Rag. It's an early composition by Scott Joplin, and one of the most famous of all ragtime pieces. It gave Joplin the title King of Ragtime and a steady if unspectacular income for the rest of his life.
