NIGHTFALL

nature. nature has never failed me
never made me angry or sad,
always containing me like the mother it is
there’s something soothing and so magnificent about nature
watching a dark forest lit by moonlight
watching green moss and foggy nights
watching scattered clouds in the sky
watching the stars as the light up the sky,
and feeling safe that there’s a man in the moon watching over us,
with an ever sad and lonely gaze upon the earth …
