OLD BRIDGE

I was built for travel,
from one end to the other
There I stopped, didn’t
go no further…
The river flowed below me
and I was on top of my game
Those day’s have ended and
things just aren’t the same
So I will stay buried, broken
and forever closed
For I am just a bridge
that nobody knows…
