THE BLACK KITE
The black kite is a medium-sized bird of prey, blotted by the sun and buoyed by the wind. He spends a lot of time soaring and gliding in thermals in search of food. His angled wing and distinctive forked tail makes him easy to identify. He is also vociferous with a shrill whinnying call.
