SNOWY OWL

The snowy owl is a large, white owl of the typical owl family. Snowy owls are native to Arctic regions in North America and Eurasia. When you see a snowy owl, it's clear how the bird probably got its name: they're snow-white.
While shopping for Harry’s school things, Hagrid purchases a snowy owl and presents her to Harry as his birthday gift. Harry later names her Hedwig.
