VESTE COBURG
Like no other castle complex in Germany, Coburg Castle (Veste Coburg) is a visible record to the evolution of military technology in castle construction from the late Middle Ages to the early modern period. It provides a symbolic document to the important function of the castle in political, and particularly religious, clashes. The Veste is open to the public and today houses museums
