Short trip in in the deep of winter.
With the Brocken Railway (Brockenbahn) to the summit of the Brocken, the highest mountain of the Harz at 1,141 m (3,743 ft). It's the only line whose regular services are exclusively hauled by steam locomotives. Nearly an hour through snow-covered woods to reach the summit. Great!
